White Horse Soapbox Derby Westbury Festival are supporting the Westbury Town Council’s White Horse Soapbox Derby. This year’s Westbury Festival Stage will play host to some of the most accomplished acts on the UK circuit all  for free!  One of this year’s special guest slots features ‘JFB’, The 4 x Champion DJ Title Holder and 2021 world DMC champion. JFB is considered the UK’s leading Scratch DJ and turntablist. He was a resident DJ on Rob Da Bank’s Radio 1 show and his video’s have amassed over 9 million views on YouTube alone! (2.15pm) Headlining this year’s event, and courtesy of Westbury’s Gooding Accounts, ‘Complete Madness’ are most definitely UK’s number 1 tribute to the Nutty Boys! Having performed Concert Halls, Cruise ships and Festivals for 25 years, the popular 6-piece band will be going, ‘one step beyond’, performing Madness Classics, taking to the Westbury Festival stage after the final winner announcements at 5.35pm. You can see a tribute to the Nutty Boys at (6.00pm) Leading up to the winner announcements, you can see a live performance from special guests and festival favourites ‘Ushti Baba!’ – Having performed just about every major festival in the UK including Glastonbury Festival, the much- loved unique Folk folk-rave fused band features Violin, Guitars, Trumpet, Cello, Accordion and beat-box! Creating hypnotic pan-European melodies with modern dance rhythms! (4.45pm) Biggie Tallz returns to his hometown of Westbury, having held residency for the past few years as a Club DJ in Bath. A favourite from the 2022 Soapbox, our special guest and local resident Biggie Tallz will be serving up some summer anthems. Festival tickets now on sale

Yes, the box office is now open! With the festival opening day just around the corner, don’t be slow to buy your tickets. We are very pleased that South West Hearing Care has offered to host our box office this year. You can find them at 2 High Street, Westbury (the library end) from Monday to Fridays. If you wish to buy tickets on Saturdays, pop in to Westbury Museum on the 1st floor of the library where we will be running a pop-up ticket office from 9.30 am to 1 pm. You can also buy your tickets online of course by going through the festival’s website.

Small Town Film Festival Westbury’s own Film FestivalFriday 03: June10am- 12 noon 2pm-4pm 7pm-10pm Tickets from www.spacecraftwestbury.co.uk Note this is not a Westbury Festival event but we are pleased to promote itA couple of years ago, we decided to run a short film festival in the Westbury Festival – but covid lead to a cancelled then a short notice but Covid restricted festival so we couldn’t do it in 2020 or2021  We are delighted that the idea has stayed alive and now is a reality.In the festival, will won’t be forgetting about film – and this year we hope to show daily free films around a them of British cinema – so film buffs will still have something to see.
