Red River Girl  is the true story of the death of a fifteen-year old indigenous girl in Canada and the hunt for her killer.

In the summer of 2014, Tina Fontaine was found weighted down in the Red River in the prairie city of Winnipeg.  Her death shocked the nation and sparked one of the most elaborate and unusual detective investigations ever undertaken by the Canadian police.

Locally-based, award-winning journalist Joanna Jolly has worked closely with detectives, the alleged perpetrator and the indigenous community in Canada to unravel this compelling and gripping mystery.
