David Copperfield: Dickens’s Favourite Child – Dr Keith Hooper

David Copperfield, with its autobiographical content, is a wonderful example of Dickens’s genius. Keith Hooper, personally inspired by the book, will examine the themes and autobiographical content of the novel.

Dr Keith Hooper, following the publication of his popular biography of Charles Dickens, has been travelling around the country talking about Dickens and other Victorian authors. Prior to Covid 19, he appeared at over fifty venues. With over ten thousand YouTube viewings, his illustrated talks have been very well received and he has gained a reputation for being both informative and entertaining.
