The Wilts & Berks Canal

Currently the country’s biggest canal restoration project, this talk by Alan Lank tells the interesting stories around restoring Wiltshire’s lost waterway between the Kennet & Avon at Semington and the Thames at Abingdon.

Alan Lank is the Talks Co-ordinator of the Wilts & Berks Canal Trust, having started off helping at “muddy boots” work parties about ten years ago, he now organises events to raise public awareness and much needed funds for the canal.
