Lucerna Quartet
Founded in 2022 in London, the Lucerna Quartet craft unique, innovative, and polished performances through combining new works with the staple repertoire of the saxophone quartet. All members of the quartet study at the Royal College of Music, where the quartet was recently awarded the June Emerson Launchpad Prize. They have collaborated with composers from the UK, USA, and Japan, often performing world premieres of new compositions. Between them, they hold several scholarships including the Leverhulme Trust Award and the Help Musicians Postgraduate Award.
